Foundation Tutor E2E
A well established and highly reputable Training organisation seeks an E2E Foundation Tutor in Preston, Lancashire.
Under the guidance of the Foundation Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the design, preparation, administration and delivery of all aspects of the E2E and Foundation Learning Tier curriculum, Qualification Credit Framework (QCF) and Progression Pathways framework.
The Curriculum includes qualifications for personal and social development, vocational development and units of bite sized qualifications within the QCF, whilst embedding Basic Skills. You will also be encouraged to innovate and develop a range of additional learner activities.
Duties will include the identification and implementation of agreed / authorised qualifications by working with the Quality Manager to get scheme approval from Awarding Bodies and the completion of relevant learner assessment administration.
You will be responsible for the preparation of all training materials to support the delivery of the qualifications you are responsible for, and for recording accurate and up-to-date data regarding learner progression.
You will also be required to network with a variety of outside agencies including other professionals and volunteers working with young people.
A qualification at NVQ Level 3 or equivalent for example a degree or 2 A-levels is essential. A PGCE, PTLLS, Cert Ed or similar is desirable, but not essential.
Experience of working and delivering to young people in a sector such as education, careers services, youth services, learning and training providers, youth justice, voluntary & community work or social work would be an advantage.
The successful applicant will have a can do attitude, a willingness to work outside normal working hours where necessary, and their own transport. An up to date CRB report will be required.
Hours of work are Monday Friday 9-4.30 with half hour lunch.
Salary is negotiable in the range £15363 - £17341pa, and holiday entitlement is 23 days pa
