NVQ Retail Assessor - Lancashire



Our client is one of the UK's largest, privately owned providers of vocational training. They deliver government funded training to businesses and individuals in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Each year they support over 12,500 learners to improve their skills and gain a qualification, ranging from NVQs to Advanced Apprenticeships.

With over 500 Assessors they organise work-based learning and regular meetings with the learners, to provide individual support and guidance. The extensive support network combines nationwide coverage with local support in person, on the phone and online.



Duties & Responsibilities

NVQ Assessors - Retail, Customer Service Programmes



Lancashire



This is an excellent opportunity to be involved in the assessment process allowing people to achieve a full NVQ L2 and/or L3 qualification in their relevant occupational sector. You will be required to take a caseload of learners where you will have regular meetings to support them through the NVQ process. This will involve regular visits to the learners place of employment and also remote support.



Your occupational experience will cover a broad range of activities from within the relevant industry sector, ideally including one or more of the following:-



Retail

Customer Service



Ideally you will be experienced at assessing NVQ candidates within the working environment having achieved your assessor qualifications (D32/D33, A1). Any other experience within the training environment such as internal verification, key skills/basic skills training, tutoring would be desirable.



It is essential you possess your own driving licence as the role will involve travelling to various sites to assess individuals in their work place.
