Export Airfreight Clerk



Our Client has a wealth of experience in the carriage of cargo, to and from any worldwide destination. They offer a full range of services, from consular documentation, through export packing through to the expedition of the package, whether it is by:- Trailer Freight, Sea Freight or Air Freight.



They are looking for an EXPORT AIRFREIGHT CLERK to assist their airfreight manager. They must be at such a level that they are fully conversant with all aspects and can when necessary take over the running of the dept during holidays and illness etc. They are looking for someone northern Manchester area if possible as they are based in Bacup. A knowledge of seafreight/trailerfreight export-import would be helpful but 95% of the work will be airfreight export, so sea/trailer is not essential .



You are expected to complete the full export process start to finish. Completing all documentation. Taking export bookings, completing airways bills, quotes, and invoicing. Liaising with airlines. Handling any queries and problem solving.



Our client needs an experienced air freight clerk.

So if you are looking for the chance to take the next step up in exports and you have experience in air exports then you maybe the person for this role.

Ideally you will have knowledge of worldwide markets, airway bills, consolidation and all customs documentation. Customer service skills.
